Default Long Block into 96 EX How hard to go SOHC to DOHC

First off yes i did search and didnt fins this so i hope its not a repost

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30021

This was $600, how much more will i most likely end up spending. What else will i need. My plan is to turbo it and other little stuff.

I want to be pushing 250-300hp at the wheels, am i best off to keep my current 1.6sohc vtec and turbo it or switch to the dohc?

Is this even legal?

Not legal - engine needs to be same year or newer than chassis
Youd need to do a lot of wiring to make the obd's match up (stick with same obd as your car)
You'll also need a transmission

Clearly, you didnt search very hard

if you wanna go DOHC, just buy a complete swap. It will probably be cheaper, and easier to deal with because u wont have to deal with finding misc. parts. but if you want to be an SOHC soldier, then build the bottom end, and boost it
