well...I'm getting ready to up the NOS to 150 shot...it might end up a two stage system so I can spray either the 50 or 100 off the line then hit the 2nd stage after the slicks grip.....

I most likely will get Eagle rods and i don't want my compression to be too low...oh yes..I also have ignition, timing retard box, 255lph fuel pump,fpr,fpr just for nos,vafc, and skunk2 racing valves

why not....I hear nitrous has no problems when running proper air/fuel and spark...and the forged lower compression pistons couldn't hurt
my friend is running an ls/vtec with 11.9:1 compression with 175 shot...I can't wait to see it at the track...he's running 12.9:1 A/F n/a and on the bottle 12.2:1 so a bit richer...we'll see

don't do it...didn't you read RealTypeR's post yesterday?! He blew his motor and I don't think he was running more than a 75 shot.
I guess if you want to ruin a nice B18C5...then go ahead. Hell, I would trade you your B18C5 for my B18C1?! Then you could go blow up the C1.

you guys really think I shouldn't go over 100?? if I don't go over 100...I will still get the pistons/rods to be on the safe side...also I really want 300whp and I should be pushing 250-260 shortly...where in gods name can I find an extra 40 whp lol

Think about it this way...most stock B18C5's can only handle about 6-7 Psi of FI. The compression ratio is MUCH too high. The B18C5 was made for NA... IMO of course.
oh and also RealTypeR was running single wet fogger...and my guess is the nos didn't get dispersed very well and all ran to cyllinder #4 which was the only one that he "blew"

well...all I can say is we'll see....I'm gonna save up so flow and go from there...if I do the set up i will do it right and have the fuel running a bit rich on the bottle...and have all good parts and everything
with the proper air/fuel/ spark(7 series) I shouldn't have a problem....and with forged pistons and eagle rods I should be fine...I doubt detonation would occur maybe minor problems ESPECIALLY traction whise....but we'll see

...same or higher compression pistons(RW), Eagle rods, J&S, tuned on a wideband O2 and shoot your 2 stage til your hearts content...

btw fuzznuts.. I enjoyed you very insightful addition to this thread. Once again, thank you for your contribution.
with proper fuel & timing tunning you will be ok , i havent met too many people that can do this just right though...my friend has been spraying a 250+ shot in 3 stages direct port in his GSR block ( pistons, rods and block guard ,fpr , injectors) for 2 years and the car has been running without a problem for over 2 years, his best time was a 10.80 its a crx ..i used to spray 125 shot on a stock gsr block that i had long time ago in a crx never had a problem either ....then again i HATE drag racing and i think spraying is a waste of time...get a nice suspension set up and hit the road coarse!
BTW...i have my old Crane Timing retard control unit..you can retard the timing from inside the car its awsome for nos...retard range 0-20 degrees.. IM me if you are interested
