Building an a6, what kind of pistons and rods
what plans do you have for the motor? FI, All Motor, Nitrous?
I wanted to gain some compression in my a6 and went with the p29 pistons and stock rods. I added in the ARP rod bolts for good measure.

if i were you i would get s ome Scat rods for your A6 . the cost about 280 shipped. find a good deal on some pistons ( low comp ) and you should be OK for like 10-15 PSI. Enginemanagement will be key so dont cheap out and get an FMU, instead runTurbo edit and you should be golden. for that you will need a PR4 or 90-91 PM6 ECU to chip. read here for lots of info on how to do it all on your own http://www.homemadeturbo.com
good luck!

Just remember for an aftermarket dseries rod(besides eagle) you will need to notch the block for the rods to clear the bottoms of the cylinder walls.
EDIT: the new style eagle rods do not require notching but the older eagle rods do require notching

Since you are OBD2 your gonna need to convert to OBD1 ( its more user friendly and more info is out there for stand alone systems) SO if your gonna run OBD1 then i suggest using http://www.UBerdata.org
your using what head with this block?
