'99 Accord Fuel Tank Pressure CEL problem. Gas cap didn't fix it...
Well my sister's Accord is having a chronic CEL for the fuel tank pressure. I tried the quick fix that I found from searching online (get a new gas cap) and that didn't work. I have been trying to search but I can't find any other info on it?
I remember reading something before about some kind of vent or solenoid on the evap canister (charcoal canister) being prone to going out...but I can't seem to find info on that problem now.
I was wondering if anyone here has run into the same problem, and what the fix was? I'd appreciate any help you can give me because I don't want to waste money taking this to a shop or dealer if I can fix it myself.
Thanks!

There's different codes for the EVAP system, which one did you get?
P1456 EVAP leak in gas tank system (get this one from a loose gas cap).
P1457 EVAP leak in canister system (that's what I had).
There's probably additional codes for flaky fuel-tank pressure sensor?
Check this linked thread, look towards the bottom where I describe some checks.
