It could be your gas cap gasket is leaking and not holding the presure.

I've never had any pressure released when I've taken my gas cap off.

Maybe I have a problem too? Doubt it.

The gas cap is supposed to seal, so that the vehicle's evap system can trap fuel vapors to be burned by your engine. If your fuel cap has a leak, then your evap system can't pull a vacuum on the gas tank.

If it really is leaking, however, you'll get a CEL. I got a CEL for this, and Acura replaced my gas cap, free of charge. Unless you get a CEL (at least for Integra's), then your cap should be just fine.

Thanks,
Nick

Doesn't it just hiss when your tank is almost empty? Wait until your tank is nearly empty to get gas, that will fix your "problem"
