Default Force Induction On ITR

I searched but didn't get alot of information from it. I was wondering what people thought about the Vortech S/C. How reliable is this set-up? In my search, I wasn't able to find a good dyno of chart of it. I know it makes power in the higher rpms, but how much power over stock in the lower? Would I need a new clutch or axles for this? If I do choose to get forced fed, I'd rather not get a turbo even though it would produce more hp because I live where smog is a pain. So I would like to get something that produces good, reliable hp and doesn't compromise emissions. Thanks.

Thanks BlkITR

I didnt know Vortech made a SC for the ITR?

Most people on here that are SC'ed run the Jackson Racing charger.

I don't think they do but I am sure you could fit one with some modification. all the vortech powered cars I have ever seen are dyno queens.

There was a guy(or girl) on here with a Vortech. The motor blew and the car was being sold. This was maybe 3-4 months ago. Something like that.

Have you looked through the threads?
The information from them is not what I was looking for. If you actually READ, which might be difficult for some. Previous threads are old and they are not using the charger for the ITR but modded LS or GSR chargers for the ITR. I was looking for information on the NEW kit for the ITR.

I believe procharger also makes a kit with a selfcontained centerfugal type, and front mount intercooler. They claim a 70-75% gain @ 8psi, but I have not seen any dyno charts of people running this kit to back it up.
