i have had my 91 dx hatch running with a B16a1 swap for awhile now and am thinking about getting a drag kit and upgrading alittle bit later. How much boost can i run to my b16 with all stock inturnals besides gsr cams. what kind of power and or 1/4mile times should should i be seing

lol we need to just scrap the entire search tool since it must not work or people just dont use it....


but ill help you out. on my b16a2 i had a dual stage boost controller, running 8.5lbs daily and 11.5lbs for the track. I probably drove with 11.5lbs more than i should...and thats about the thresh hold of stock internals. Numbers and times will vary according to your setup, but with my precision sc50 .63 a/r 76 trim stage 3 wheel....at 11.5lbs it put down 282whp on a conservative tune and was trapping around 112 on street tires

but dont even bother running stock internals, just wait till you can get at least forged pistons and rods, b/c youll get bored with the boost level your at, youll want more power, bump up the boost, and risk youre entire block being blown to bits. so my advice is just start with at least forged pistons and rods when you start the turbo build
