Default T04B compressor cover vs T04E compressor cover

I bought a new turbo through a hookup at a local shop and when it arrived, turns out they sent me a T3/T04E (6 compressor blades) with a T04B cover (0.60 a/r with a 2.75" inlet). I haven't measured the compressor trim but it should be a 57 trim and like I said it's an E wheel so I'm not too worried about that, just the housings.

Anyone have experience with this wheel in this housing? How is it comparable to the T04E housing, would it be better for my setup? Should I freak out and try to send it back? I haven't run it, only opened the Garrett box!

Little background: I'm running low boost on an otherwise stock block, not looking for more than 300hp for a year or so. I don't care about low spool times; as long as it makes good top end without falling off I could give a crap about bottom end (I use it for drag racing).

TIA

I would see how close the wheel sits to the housing, if the housing fits on there but there is a big gap between the wheel and the housing thats no good.

Here is a list of all the wheels you could have all you have to do is measure and at least you will know what housing you should have.
