hydraulic press is 12ton enough?
ok, im looking into buying a hydraulic press as I really need one. Main uses remove install bearings, bushings ball joints, wheel studs, wheel bearings, etcc will a 12 ton work for me?
how do you expect to move a 12 ton press around? Thats heavy as hell, you'd need like a crane and ****.
Seriously, that should do fine. Get plenty of rams of different sizes for all your pressing needs.

The amount of pressure definietly will work for you.
The question will be if there is enough room between the bars to complete yoru desired task.

yea, im so torn because their is a local guy selling a 12ton which i could get for under 100 bucks. If I want a 20ton thats gonna run me 300 so i dunno what to do
With the 20 ton press, they are usually wider, there are a couple companies that sell press brake attachments for them, you can bend some pretty thick stuff, ive bent 1/4" thick by 4" scattershields with ease, I did some 1/2" thick by 2" stuff too. It really all depends what you plan to use it for, just car stuff, or fabrication too....

Pretty sure if its over $100 its free. You still might pay a handling fee.
