I Wanna spray N20 on my GS, how much power can I put through this block with N20?
I've been reading up and it seems the most I can do is a 50 shot on the stock motor. I'm gonna run a wet Nitrous Express kit. What i'm wondering is what else do I need? Do I NEED a fuel pump or anything like that?
My other question is what sort of tuning options do I have? Hondata, or can I get away with some sort of MSD ignition to retard the timing? Hondata or something like that does appeal to me though, I could just get that and tune the car better on and off N20.
Final question: If I wanted to spray a 100-150shot and not have to worry about the bottom end exploding what would I have to do? pistons and rods, that it? Do I gotta get this thing sleeved? If its just pistons and rods, **** I'm probably gonna doit!
Thanks for any help guys. Integra forum wasnt gettin me TOO far.

Hondata, neptuned, and MSD ignition controls can all retard ignition timing upon spraying. Your other option is to retard it at the distributor, but it would be like that all the time. As long as the fuel and ignition systems are in good check (adequate fuel pressure and colder plugs) you could probably spray a 75 shot. If you want to go bigger build the internals. Personally, I don't think it would be necessary to sleeve to spray a 150 shot...as long as it is tuned properly.
stock motor can handle quite a bit of power, normally people detonate with over 150shot of nitrous. definately keep with the nx wet kit tho, nx is a great company.
im just finishing up a nitrous'd ls setup. ls motor, freshly rebuilt top end with oem parts, taper bored gsr tb, comptech icebox, dc 4-2-1 header, nx direct port kit with rail upgrade. only gauge i have is the aem uego a/f gauge. i'm planning to start with an 80 shot then i will upgrade prolly to a 75 shot(wet), 200 shot(dp) 2 stage setup on stock block still.

shut the **** up.it reall depends on how big your nuts are. Most people stop at about a 75 shot on a stock motor but then again there are guys spraying 150+. Depends on how badly you need this car and how well your able to tune the setup.
THe car is my daily driver. It already has a CAI. I'm gonna do some suspension work, probably the tokico blue cause it only drops 1" and is better than stock. Getting a catback exhaust, and would like to hit 200-225WHP and NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT EXPLODING!!
I know about nitrous setups for the most part. I ran them in 2 cars. NX single fogger wet kit with N20 pressure gauge, bottle heater, window switch from 3500RPM-7000RPM, and FP safety switch is the setup I'm going for. Do I need a fuel pump for that? Going to probably run 2 degree colder plugs, possibly just 1 with more timing retard. It will be dyno tuned.
What ignition control system would you reccomend that will get the job done ***CHEAP*** and correctly. The MSD one good? Is it easy to hook up?
Now another question.... What would go on the block spraying N20? Does it usually snap a rod, or burn the piston out? I'm guessing a rod snapping would be the biggest problem considering the torque spike.
Thanks guys.

most people around here spray about 100 and play it off like they are na. some are definately spraying more but every1 realizes they are spraying. ****, half of the time u smell it in the air.

go msd digital 6 box, it is your best move. launch control, digital retard controller, and more. summit part # MSD-6520.
normally people detonate or melt piston 3 when running nitrous but i have heard of people blowing their head up spraying. prolly their stupidity trying to shift while spraying or something.

thanks... I dont want it to be fast, its my daily car. I have a fast car, its in my signature. I just want something that I can use on "special" occasions.

In that case, I'd say a 50-75 shot wet.
