Blown Motor.
i have a 97 prelude w/ a JRSC on my h22, an i recently did a compression test an here are my results: 135, 135, 0, 135. why are all of my numbers so low? i know that i need to do a rebuild, and a would like to know whaich parts are best for the price? also what all am i going to have to do. rods, bearings, pistons and rings probably, but do i have to resleeve it also? how much am i looking to spend? and are there other things that could be cause my compresssion to be so low? thanks.
Depending on the damage incured you may need a rehone at best. Looks like you lost your rings on #3 and probably cracked the ringlands on 1,2,4 hence the low compression.
How long and at what psi have you been boosting ?
Worst case senerio, a set of h22 pistons with new rings a rehone or .25 over depending on damage and cylinder wall conditions + replace all the bearings while the block is apart and all matinence that would be needed ( timing belt, water pump, thermo, oil pump etc etc.)
Be sure to give all the pistons/rings a good going over with compression numbers like that.

i am running 9psi and have been for about 15k miles or so. the timing belt was changed when the sc was put on. so it is still pretty new, still change it? also would it be best to replace all the pisotns rings rods and bearings w/ aftermarket parts? and if so how much approx. to get me back on the road?
nah if its in good condition and there is no wear on it dont bother changing it. This is going to be a pretty in depth tear down, so find a good shop that knows what they are doing. You wont need to resleeve unless you want to drop forged pistons and up the boost.

yea itd be cheaper to put in stock pistons, and i realize money is an issue with most of us, but i think in the long run making the jump to a sleeved block would really make you happier in the long run.
I could be wrong though, and i understand how $$ plays into our hobby so much, so best of luck!

just buy a decent set of used h22 pistons and some new rings and you are set ( rehone does not cost that much compared to sleeving and the price of forged pistons) You want to do it right then build the bottom end and boost at whatever you want.
This whole having to resleeve **** is really gettin to me. There are no options but to resleeve and drop 3-5 grand depending on parts and who you know.

so you suggest rehone, and all stock parts again? if it is only my rings will i be ok only replacing them and keeping the original psitons, the motor only has about 60k on it. also if i use all oem parts again, is it likely to blow again at 9psi? cause if its gonna blow in another 50k i am going to need to do it right.
Hell yea, it's gonna blow again.
If it blew after 15K once, there is a reason for it happening.
What you need to do, is rebuild back to stock and improve the tuning, or fully build your block.
