Default Official Prelude Weight Thread

dont know where it went but we need to get another one going.....

Spare tire and jack- 27 lbs.
Front and rear floormats - 10 lbs.

Front and rear bumper beams - 65 lbs.
ABS - 25 lbs.
CC - 3 lbs.
Rear seats, rear seat belts, rear seat supports - 30 lbs.
Sun roof and motor - 45 lbs.
PS - 15 lbs.
Trunk interior panels - 15 lbs.
All sound deadening - 30 lbs.
My optima battery - 45 lbs.

The ABS system weighs 25 pounds? That seems high . . . .

intake resonator & vacuum box - 4.15 lbs.
front vibration damper - 8.3 lbs.
rear engine mount weight - 2.55 lbs.
spark plug cover & wire stays - .35 lbs.
ATTS & control unit - 37 lbs.
balance shafts & belt - ~8 lbs.

The ABS is definately 25 lbs. for the pump.

Sunroof assembly (w/ drain tubes and bolts) is 34 lbs.

Sound deadening material totals about 15 lbs.

Are you 105% sure about that?

Yes, I took it out, put it in a garbage bag and put it on the scale and it was 15 lbs. I didn't get 105% of it, so that's why I said 'about'. I didn't get the piece in the center under the dash or the 2 pieces on the rear wheel wells.
