Weight reduction on my '96 CX. Here's my results:
Here's what I took out, and what each item weighs...
Front Passenger seat: 30 lbs
Hatch spare wheel well cover: 3.5 lbs
Rear mats: 1.5 lbs each
Front mats: 2.5 lbs each
Rear Seat 'Back' : 19 lbs
Rear Seat cushion: 6.5 lbs
Hatch moulding: 2.5 lbs
E-brake & Shifter Moulding: 2 lbs
Glovebox: 4 lbs
Full-size Spare: 32.5 lbs
Jack: 5 lbs
Misc. Bolts: 1 lb
Rear Passenger-side moulding w/ speaker: 8 lbs
Rear Driver-side moulding w/speaker: 8lbs
Carpet: 6 lbs
Old rear strut bar brackets: 1.5 lbs (bar had bent and been removed by previous owner)
Kick Panels, Steering Column plastic: 0.5 lbs
Sound Deadening Tar: 17 lbs
Rear Seat Belts: 8.5 lbs
Total weight reduction: +/- 163.5 lbs
I noticed a bit of a difference with acceleration, but braking is where the biggest improvement was made! Stops on a dime...
It's quite loud inside the car, and if I didn't drive people around a lot, I'd leave the car like this...hehe.
Future weight reduction plans include a lightweight battery and carbon fiber hood....eventually!

Oh I almost forgot...whenever I get the guts to remove the dash, I'll be removing and weighing the firewall mat.

Brakes are not stock...I have rear discs from an integra and cross-drilled slotted rotors up front. I have yet to install the integra master cylinder, booster, prop valve though...so brakes are a little strange feeling since you have to push the pedal in farther to get it to stop.
