Default tailight problems...

after i took out the amber reflector off of my 96 accord, wen i put them back on the brake lights stopped working, any ideas of wut happened, wiring, bulbs itself? TIA

maybe a loose harness? did u check if the bulb is all the way in?

See if you can diagnosis the problem yourself so you can save yourself money and if your really stumped then bring it to the dealership.....

This is easy to test. You can check the bulb with any 12V source and if it works, look at the wire harness, if it does not, replace it.

wut do i look at?? i looked at the bulb, they look fine but wut do i look for with the harness? burning or something...? please let me know anyone

i just checked and my passanger side brake light wires came off completely but the dirvers side is intact....maybe wen one is out the other doesnt work?!? any info guys...

you connect your lightbulb to directly to your battery and if it lights up you know the bulb is NOT the problem. I use leads with alagator clips on both ends and it works very well for testing lights
