slight OIL Burning d16y7 @ 90K, NOOO!
So I have been observing my oil slowly going down the past few weeks.. I checked for leaks, nothing found. So I start smelling the fumes to find a slight oil burning sensation..
My question is, what might be the cause of this? Bad pistion rings, cracked block, timming?
Any advise for things to check for would be helpful!

Cam seal, vavle cover gasket, oil pan gasket, could be axle grease from a busted CV boot. There are lots of things. Best thing to do is clean the engine bay free of all dirt and grime then look for tell tale signs of leaks once you smell it again.

How much oil? Industry standard is to not do anything until you loose 1qt / 1000mi.
Only way to telll what's wrong internally, without breaking open the motor, is a compression and leakdown test.
