I've used both, and found that the Profec B Spec II was much easier to deal with than the Profec Type S, as far as TOTAL control. But the Type S is fine for an MBC

The Profec-S is one of the easiest boost controllers there is to use, much easier than the spec II. All you have to do is turn the ***** where as on the spec II you have to select all of you options with the different push buttons, scrolling through the different settings gets to be a pain. The Profec S definately gets my vote.

Should perform exactly like a profec B, flawless.

If I were to buy one I would get the SpecII, because I like to mess around with **** like that to get optimum boost settings. I really like how the SpecII sounds on paper

Spec 2 = Garbage.

The new type s is the same thing but easier to use.

Manual Boost Controller > *
