Spec 2 is a pain in the butt to adjust. wasted 30min on the dyno waiting for Greddy's tech support to get back from lunch. Not knocking Greddy or their staff. maybe i'm just illegitmate.

I have heard of problems with the Profec Spec II, but some claim it all user error and nothing is wrong with them. I say even if the SpecII has nothing wrong people are still having problems sometimes so get the Type S for that reason. Again just My opinion and what I have read inthese forums

yeah I've personally had both the spec 2 and the first profec b boost, which is like the type s controller and let me tell you that I'm way happier with the profec b than with the spec 2. The spec 2 was nice since it had a few extra options like peak boost display and it let you dial in closer than the regular profec but it was for more hardcore tuners who want to dial in like to the dot. for everyday people I would recommend the profec b or the type s controller and you can buy the remote switching system from greddy for like 100 dollars and it will switch from high boost to low or vice versa. You can even save a bunch by going ghetto style and hooking up the controller to a button or switch by means of a stereo headphone wire that is hooked up to a ground and it will switch from low to high boost for you too. hehehe

All the best to you
