Default Is this the proper amperage switch for fuel kill?

Im doing a fuel kill switch on my civic. I have next to no electrical knowledge. I know that for the fuel cutoff you are supposed to have a 20A switch.

The package of the one I purchased says:

20 AMP 125 VAC/CA
10 AMP 277 VAC/CA

Is this an appropriate switch? Im not sure which rating to go by?

first go here and study my diagrams...

then to answer your question, no absolutely do NOT use those switches until you know the VDC ratings. Those switches are rated at 125Volts AC and 277Volts AC. a 20 amp and 10 amp...

using relays, the 10Amp is sufficient but the switch HAS to be a 12VDC rated. Not a VAC switch. As long as the switch displays that it can be used with 12VDC then its fine.
