Any one know any thing about a 86/89 Saab 900 turbo???

I think those are T3 turbos? But I could be wrong?
BTW, the only turbo that I've seen mounted on an HF manifold was the DSM turbos...and that was with an adapter.

For a rebuild kit, try http://www.saabperformanceparts.com/...g/itm00056.htm
Only $99.00.
I actually just got ahold of the same turbo. For starters, i would rotate the compressor housing. Just take out all 6 of the bolts, and you can spin it around a little so that the piping is pointing up, instead of towards the radiator. (or whichever way you want to point it).
My friend used an hf manifold for a t25, but we welded it. He used the original flange cut from the headers on the car the turbo was out of. A little cutting and welding, and he had a workable manifold.

I'm looking for a .48 housing for my T3 I got off a Volvo (.63). Turbo City told me the Saabs are .48, and they'll fit my turbo. Ah wanna trade exhaust housings.
Ya we could probaly work something out, The Saab 900s has a .42 intake and a .48 exaust, you have a .63 I/E? E-mail me or just IM. You want the exaust?
What were your plans for an adapter plate, and what motor were you planning on using this on.

Hey Buddy
I'm the Driver/User Rioninja Was referin too on the Welded Manifold wwe Made, I used a t25 flange from the stock car welded it up and that was that, It held up great for months and went through 3 engines and it never cracked! THAT was before my Car was Stolen. Since then i Have a .42/.48 from a saab on here that was built the same way only This time i had a Much nicer Finish Product thanks to the Nice Flange Saab Gave me to work with! It came out great and after HEFTY porting it's still up and kicking and getting ready to upgrade to Rioninja T3 60 Trim Turbo Coupe T3. I'm a bit Weary of the lag cause now it's JUST RIGHT!! but i know it's gonna be for the better, Prolly another Grenade But we shall See!
