Default Old people need to stay off our roads!

Or have motor vehicle retest them every year!

Yesterday at about 11pm I was driving around in Trenton down olden, when I see this 94ish ford taurus driving 5mph with a totaled front end no bumper, leaking radiator, crunched hood, so I slow down roll down my window and ask this late 70 year old woman if she needs help. She says can you help me I just hit someone, so I'm thinking she was trying to leave the seen of the accident, but I pull over and I get out woundering where's the other vehicle and as I walk around her car to my surprise I find a early 40's white male so mangled up that I was in shock he was still breathing I yelled at him not to move, but he was out cold, as I call 911 for help I get a closer look at him and he's f@%ked he had both arm broken and twisted, both legs broken in most likely hundreds of places and they're all twisted up laying across his chest, and God knows what else was broken. As the sirrens get louder and closer he comes through and starts to wiggle as if he was trying to get up so I'm yelling at him don't move don't move and he seemed to have past out again, then about 5min after I got to the seen the ambulance arives cuts all his cloths off and puts on a neck brace then slides his mangled body on to this strecher trying not to move his body to much and off they went. What pisses me off the most is the whole time this lady stood there as if she did nothing wrong or she didn't know what she was doing as if she wasn't at fault. The point to all this should be to get these blind slow reacting old poeple off our roads, and of course look both ways before crossing the street.

He was on the street about 15-20 feet to the rear right of her car. I think she backed up to see what she hit and when she saw this man she got in her car to take off and thats when I pulled up. there were no skid marks, but her front end was all over the road. She had to have been doing 50mph in this 25mph zone.

Maybe she was going for help since she didn't have a phone, I'll never know. I hope this guy makes it, although I Know if he does he'll never walk again.

I think the lady could just be in shock...Maybe she was mentally deranged? Shizophrenic?

Young punks streetracing also kill people. I don't think all younguns should be taken off the road tho, but I agree with what you are saying. If you can't see the road, get off the road!

I think, from a certain age on people should be checked of reaction ability and their eyes every year to make sure they are able to make it on the streets.

someday you are old yourself and maybe you´re a very capable driver...some others are not. Anyway, the oldies should be checked every year for keeping their license

very nice with the quick thinking I have a step-grandfather going on 82 and his reaction & motor (physical) are real bad, about a year ago he bought a 1999 911 (carrera) and I have been in the car with him - his skillz are shot , he sight is bad, and so is his hearing - he now can only look at his Porsche, or go for a ride with his 60 yr old wifey. old people should be tested (IMO) every year after 70 (or something - you get my drift)

That man could have been dead on the side of the road if you didn't call 911.
You did a great job saving his life.

Thats soooooo funny!!!! They should have taken the elderly woman and executed her in the middle of the street as a lesson to other elderly people. And that other guy soundes like a huge ***** boy. LOL!! Sucks for that guy. he wont be a happy camper tomorrow. I hope his masterbating arm heals in due time. Or the old lady should jack him off whenever he wants. No what i mean???
