well i got a decsion to make on my gsr. now that my basic bolt ons are done (i/h/e) and clutch i am now ready to move on. the thing is im not sure what to get yet. i was looking into getting a set of itr or ctr cams. also homemade itb's. or i may save up for a turbo kit or a JRSC. the thing is i got only about 400 bucks to spend at this point so boost would have to wait for awhile. i guess i wanna know what do you guys think the best "bang for the buck" so to speak is for my gsr? i searched but i got many diffrent responses and opinions but nothing definate that made me make my mind up. i would like some first hand knowledge on what works the best and what doesnt instead of guesses so to speak. i appriciate the help guys. TIA
my personal opinion, if you want best bang for your buck. i would save up for boost or juice. if you want n/a juice, if you want force induction, you should save up now.
Considering what mods you've done so far, unless you want to spend another small fortune on new parts, I would stay away from Turbo'ing. Now, if you still want boost, a Vortech supercharger might be a good choice for you.
I don't see the point in nitrous, it just doesn't do anything for me. If I were in your shoes, I would start planning for a nice supercharger setup.

like his motor will live any longer on boost from a supercharger than a turbo. either is capale of popping the motor. I f i were you i'lb be saving to rebuild the engine. Thats what i'm doing. Try and make some extra power in the process. If you have the money buy forged parts and a sleeved block so you can boost liatter.

Have you ever been in a juiced car. If power at the push of a button doesnt do anything for you i dont know what will.

power and the push of my foot on the pedal is better in my opinion.

after owning 3 boosted cars (12 sec dsm, g60 turbo corrado, and a gti with a g60 swap with a bbm charger) i thought i was ready for a change with the hassles of boost. i think that engine rebuild might be a good idea.
