I just installed my cold air intake and of course I had to take the IAT to put it back into my cold air intake but now my check engine light has come on. I checked the ecu codes by jumping the blue wires in my 99 civic si. I don't know if it's me that didn't do it right or is the fact of disconnecting it that will make the check engine light come on. I disconnected the IAT sensor from it's connector.

reconnect the sensor, even if you just let it hang.

 

no no it's reconnected now but the check engine is there I pretty sure there is nothing wrong with it but now how can I clear the codes.

 

disconnect the postive wire from the battery. turn your headlights on til they die (prob about 2 sec). reconnect battery. done.
