01 Civic check engine light
I recently installed a short ram intake on my Civic and the check engine light went on. I used a code reader and the the diagnostic trouble code that showed up was P0113 (IAT sensor 1 circuit high input). I am guessing that the intake air temp. is really high and is tripping off the sensor. I tried to reset the trouble code with an OBD 2 scanner but the light still stays on. I even tried unplugging the battery for an hour and then checking again. Darn check engine light is still on. Will the ECU adapt to the new intake? Any help or info. is appreciated. Thanks.

it will, you sure you have the all the sensors plugged in?
This is really the section for 92-00 civics. You may have better luck at 7thgencivic.com. That whole site is based on your car.
You can try reseting the ECU aswell.

Re: 01 Civic check engine light (sik26)
Sounds like you may have cut, stripped, or somehow messed up one of the two wires leading to the sensor. The soldering job I did on mine to extend the sensor wires came apart one day, and I got the exact same code. Check the wires, and you'll probably find your problem.
