Weird sound from the rear of my car *suspension, bushing ??* EG. Please take a look !
Well last summer I was sure that it was my old KYB that were doing this weird sound... Now I have a brand new suspension and it still doing this sound...
Every time I hit a bump or a crack on the road it do the sound... it makes me feel like if my hatch is not closed properly...
I readed a few months ago that there is a bushing on all the 1992-2000 Civic that when he is dead will do this sound but Im not sure.
Anyone had this problem before ??

your gonna have to further investigate but i would be willing to bet its either a lower control arm bushing or a trailing arm bushing...
i currently have the same problem and have a set of each by prothane sitting in my trunk waiting for me to install them. Next day off = April 1st

mmh my LCA busching is brand new cuz I got the LCA with my Omni suspension...
So it could be the trailing arm bushing.
Is it really hard to change if I order them or I need an hydraulic tool to remove the old one ?

replacing the trailing arm bushing requires a press. Unless you're going to use poly bushings that use the factory metal parts. then you could do it without one.
