B20 guys NEED ADVICE!
Okay here is the deal. I have a b16a2 motor with 46,000 miles that recently hydrolocked.
The shop has 5100 to work with...
I need to know what to have them get to do a proper b20 hybrid set up.
He is getting a b20 block Year 99 or newer with equal or less miles than i have. Also he already agreed to put a nice clutch in my car. Suggestions on internals that need to be replaced. He had arleady mentioned putting arp in the B20 block to prevent the problemm with reving. Anyother tips and suggestions would be appreciated guys. Thanks.

Oil pump off a vtec block (along with pickup assembly)
Water pump off a vtec block
Get the golden eagle ls/crvtec kit (comes with lines, taps, and oil filter plate)
New pistons (wiseco are good for the price)
Balance the rotating assembly
If you are not replacing the rods, get them shot peened
I wouldnt say ARP rod bolts are a must.. but they are only 60 bucks
Make sure to get a decent clutch. For all motor, a regular Exedy should be fine
