B20 guys NEED ADVICE!
Okay here is the deal. I have a b16a2 motor with 46,000 miles that recently hydrolocked.
The shop has 5100 to work with...
I need to know what to have them get to do a proper b20 hybrid set up.
He is getting a b20 block Year 99 or newer with equal or less miles than i have. Also he already agreed to put a nice clutch in my car. Suggestions on internals that need to be replaced. He had arleady mentioned putting arp in the B20 block to prevent the problemm with reving. Anyother tips and suggestions would be appreciated guys. Thanks.

$5100???????????? Take you car far away from that guy.
IF i was you get a b20 motor 700+shiiping from just about every reliable engine vendor on this site. Get a good clutch and flywheel another 4-500, and install that motor yourself. The b20 is a direct replacment to the b16. You will have 3 plugs left over after the swap though, 2 for the vtec solinoid and 1 from the crank position sensor.
