02 sensor replacement D16Y8
Well, it's getting to the point where I need to replace my 02 sensors, and the prices (from http://www.slhondaparts.com) are f'n rediculous:
36531-P2P-A01 SENSOR, OXYGEN $192.27
36532-P2P-A01 SENSOR, RR. OXYGEN $192.27
I know I shouldn't run Bosch or generic 02; so does anyone know who is the OEM supplier, and where I can get these cheaper?

Great find, thanks
So, since the OEM are listed as Walker:
https://www.automedicsupply.co...d7058
I'm assuming the only difference between the 'OEM' and 'universal' is that I'll have to splice the universal in?
Is there some type of wire color convention for the sensors, so that I will know which wires to splice together?

Try http://www.sparkplugs.com, they have them for about $40-$45 a pop.
I think when you get them, they have instructions that tell you which wire is for ground, power, heater, etc.
edit: You're correct about the universal, the OEM has the plug attached, and the universal you will have to solder the wires in.

OK, maybe I missed typed. The prices listed above....are they for the primary or secondary catalytic convertor?? Secondary is generally a little more expensive, however identical to the primary, except for the length of wire and the rubber grommet to go into the interior of the car

The OEM price I listed was for both. The one listed as RR is the rear, but they're the same price.
From oxygensensors.com:
Primary:
OEM 4 Walker $219.90 Today 250-24398 VIEW Replaces #'s
Universal 4 Walker $51.90 Today 250-24400 VIEW Replaces #'s
Secondary:
OEM 4 Walker $149.99 Today 250-24105 VIEW Replaces #'s
OEM 4 Denso $194.99 Tomorrow 234-4098 VIEW Replaces #'s
Universal 4 Walker $59.90 Today 250-24200 VIEW Replaces #'s
Sparkplugs.com only lists the rear. Is there actually a difference between them? They are listed as different part numbers, but sparkplugs only has one listing.

Yeah, I checked there, and they have a walker 02 with a plug for about that price. But there's no listing for if it's front or back, or a reference part number.
So that brings me back to: is there a difference between the front and rear sensors?

No, no different other than wire length and the rubber gromet

I looked on the website and ones listed as OEM have a plug in the picture. Ones listed as Universal do not have a plug, just bare wire with some shrink tubing, like EX_AutoXer said.
Good thing there's no difference. $89 + tax for 2 of them from http://www.sparkplugs.com then.
EX_AutoXer - how did you know when it was time to replace your O2 sensors? How many miles on your car? Just debating when it's time for mine to be done.

I've got 110K on the clock. They're design life is around 60K if I remember correctly, so by milage alone, I'd say it's time. I've been putting it off because of the expense, but my gas milage is pretty poor lately; since it's the only regular maintenance I haven't done, I'm going to see if it helps.
It's basically a cost benifit thing; I was pretty sure my milage was dropping from the 02, but it was expensive, so I'd waste a bit more gas. Now that it's getting pricey, it's time to start looking into dishing out the cash for the 02 to get my milage back.

But the wire / gromet will work in both locations, correct?

The plug end will, the grommet will just sit there at your primary o2. Just cut it off, orleave it hanging.
