Knock Sensor D16Y8
My damned knock sensor dry rotted its plastic plug and broke off, now the plug is mising and just a bare knock sensor with its plug/lil wires missing. Can I solder a hardwire to it and spade connect it back to the plug? I really can't afford a $120 new sensor and its throwing the CEL and SCREWING my gas mileage!

you might as well try, it may just break off again, but it'll probably give you enough time to maybe find a used one.

no plastic connector though...somehow my stupid *** lost it. I was using a Pontiac Sunfire 2 wire knock sensor...but for some odd reason its not workign now:!
