ok i swapped a jdm b16 sir2 with cable tranny into my ek (got tranny for free) and did the cable to hydro converison...my friend got a b16a2 for his del sol but he needed a diff. shift linkage so he gave me his b16a2 linkage but when i put that into my car all the gears were kinda weird...my first gear goes up further then it should to engage..i noe its not the tranny bcuzz it wasnt like that in our crx...so im thinking its the linkage..also its hittin eachother when im moving it side to side in neutral..y is that?? do i need integra linkage?

as long as you didnt use the delsol linkage in your car, check that it is is installed correctly and the stabilizer shaft (the 2 12mm's that go into the tunnel) are tight. i dont know if the crx linkage is different, but if it is in an ek you may need 94-up teg linkage or 99-00 si linkage.

 

nope he should be fine - might be his bushings! linkage b series across the board for that should be fine in an ek -hyrdo b series linkage integ would work- or one from 99-00 si- or mad jdm linkage !

ya i have a 99-00 SI linkage and it seems like its the wrong linkage..It came wit the motor my friend bought..he got the b16a2.
