Default shift linkage

i did a search but it didnt come up with any answers for my questions...

will my 96 ls shift linkage work with a 98 b16 tranny? or will i have to get a b16 shift linkage? can i mod my linkage to work?

any help is very appreciated.

all b series linkages fit any b series trannies

doesn't matter if its a cable or hydro b- series is b-series. and 90 up teg or 99-00 si civic they are all the same the bends are i little different between them but they will all work
