okay i done a engine swap to a d16y7 and the car cranked and ran at first it smoked white... so i figured headgasket the oil smells terrible of gas like really strong... no oil in the water no water in the oil... my cousin called a guy who owns a performance shop (for domestics tho) and he said i could have a injector not firing causing the oil to smell like gas and the car to smoke i changed out injectors and its smoked black and the first injector was leaking im going to go get new o rings and stuff but i need more ideas i need this car running as soon as possible... what could be the problem btw the injectors im using arent from my other setup its very possible they cloged up from sitting out could this be it? my last setup was turbo so i ran 450cc's these are stock im running now im 1/2 tempted to just put the turbo back on... any input would be great...

did you use a resistor pack or resistors with your 450s? if so did you take it off before you put in stock injectors?

you are runing 240s now right?

 

yes i ran the resister mod but i took them off while i had the engine out yeah stock injectors are in now too

 

update on the problem i changed out injectors (someone told me an injectors probley not spraying but just dripping in or somthing) i changed distributors (ppl told me i might not be getting a good spark or something) im running bosch platnium 2 plugs they look black and had a small amount of oil on them these came out my friends d15b7 before we done a mini-me on it... and im running 9.3 wires... now my car cranks and runs even idles good but it sounds like its mis-firing or something its kind of hard to explain it smokes at higher RPM but i cant tell if its black or blue... any ideas
