Default Hondata vs. vafc

I have a vafc 2 in my car right now. Would the trade off to the hondata be worth the power gains?

Having the means of being able to properly tune your car and have it be more reliable while making more power........yeah, probably worth it.

If you choose Uberdata instead, you could sell the V-AFC and basically break even on the cost of an OBD-1 ECU and a conversion harness.

what are you guys talking about... he doesn't need mang at all

"aem cai, apexi world sport, dc 4-2-1, no cat, tuned apex'i vafc, comp stg 1 clutch"

he has nothing done what so ever.. why add/remove timming fuel at such a price.

keep your super vafc thingie mcbobber and get some horsepower.. then worry about a hondata or uberdata, etc etc

my personal opinion is that a VAFC is fine for all but crazy all motor builds. i'm running a VAFC-II on my b16 with all the mods you have, plus a complete skunk2 valvetrain with stage2 cams... my A/F curve isn't table-top flat, but it's close enough for an all-motor build. It does lean out a bit past 9k, since the VAFC doesn't have any settings past that, but even then it's not dangerously lean. stick with the AFC unless you go turbo or build the bottom end.

keep your VAFC not unless if you planning on hardcore ALLmotor buildup or boost.
