I've posted about this before. I've taken it to the shop. I've beat my head againsta wall. I've prayed, sworn and blasphemed.
Still, every time it rains, there's an inch of water in the driver's side floorboard.
A friend with a Ford said there's some heating/cooling part somewhere that if clogged witll overflow into the cabin when it rains.
Another friend said it's definitely the windshield seal, although no one at the shop can find the leak.
There's no water around the doors. It seems like it's coming down from the firewall/engine side, possibly around the console.
It's making me crazy! Just soaked a new pair of Clark's on my lunch break...
Any ideas as tot he validity of the above theories? Any other ideas?

Yeah, I tried that a few months ago. I giess the duration isn't long enough, cause it only got mildly damp, and I still couldn't tell where it was coming from. I tried leaving a hose on it for a while, putting the water in different places aroud the front of the car. Still nothing. It really only seems to do it when it rains. the car is garaged at home, but at work it sits out for 8 or 9 hours a day. If it's raining, my feet are wet on the way home.
This sucks...

Try cleaning your AC drain. If you look under the passenger side dash you should see a black rubber hose about a 1/2 in. diameter. Pull the hose from the back of the AC blower. It helps to have an air compressor with a air sprayer nozzle attachment thingy, spray the compressed air into the hose. Also get someting to clean out the AC drain hole on the back of the AC blower. When you feel like it is cleaned out, plug the hose back into the AC blower. All done! Another thing you may want to check is are you running your AC/heater on the "fresh air" setting? You know how you can switch the vent from fresh air to re-circulate? I am pretty sure I saw in a TSB that if it is set on fresh air and it rains or you go through a car wash, water will leak through the vent. I hope this helps, let us know how it goes!
wow i never heard of that happening before....my friends integra did leak into the trunk but he was in an accident and the body shop apparently did a poo pooy job.
Other then what was already said, you could always just sit in the car for a couple hours when it is raining and try to track down the source.

I had the same problem with my first car, an old Jetta. There were all kinds of leaves and poo poo in the area under the top of the hood next to the windshield, on each side. (does that make sense? heh) Cleaned it out and water drained fine.

This is exactly why the problem is so frustrating. No leaves or crap to be found.
I'm going to try leaving the recirc button pushed in. Cause it seems like the water has to either be coming from the firewall or the vent somewhere. The rest of the interior is totally dry. No dampness at the sunroof. The passenger side is dry as a bone. Nothing around the doors. The only place tht gets wet is the drivers' side carpet, possibly all the way tot he back seat if it's a real downpour for several hours. Last Noah's ark storm we got I vacuumed out more than a gallon of water. The only solution I can think of is to just buy a cheap car cover from wally-world and toss it over whenever it looks like rain. Pain in the ***, but better than wet feet. Of course, I would have to remove it to go anywhere, and if it's still raining.
Stupid plan.
