Default HELP!!! car idle

i have a ls vtec swap in my 88 crx and i parked my car for the winter and now when i drive it my idle is 3000 till it warms up and idles down to 1500. during the summer last year it idled at 2000 till warm then dropped to the normal 1000. as of yesterday my idle is pulsing at a range of 300-500rpms. obviously this is not normal. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY IDEAS TO FIX MY PROBLEM!!

try cleaning your IACV in back of your intake masnifold. take some carb cleaner and clean the screen. then adjust the idle screw on you TB.

if you have a fast idle valve. its right below the throttle body. take it apart(3screws) the plunger may have come apart. also check that you routed your coolant lines from the fast idle valve to the iacv correctly.

I just finished solving a similar problem on my civic. when u start yur car and it revs up to 3grand, grab the pedal with yur hand and pull the pedal backwards (opposite of accelerating). If this works try spraying sum penetrating oil on it. This may not b the problem but its worth trying because it isnt very hard to check.
