Default removing ARP studs, and installing an oil catch can

Wassup guys.

In my house i have a block with ARP headstuds, which i would like to remove and put into another block. now, my friend says to thread on 2 nuts, the 1st upside down, and then the 2nd normally and have them really tight against each other, so I can unthread the head studs. does this sound appropriate to you guys?

Also, this is a d16 im working on, and I have an oil catch can for it. I have seen a motor built by Endyn where they tapped into the rear of the block to have a spot for the oil catch can to run to. Any one know how I would go about getting this done?

Thanks for all the help.

do a friendly search for catch can or pcv

the double nut method will work great, you must have the older style arp studs
