t3/60-1 vs. sc61
Im am going to be ditching my greddy kit buying a new turbo in manifold in about a month i was wondering how these 2 turboes compare to each other! Im looking to have the possiblilty of making 450-500 horsepower on my h22a prelude! I planning on keeping i around 320-350 on the street! Which of the two is better for the street because my car is a full show car that gets driven on the street the majority of the time and at the track once or twice a month!
Set up
Aebs sleeves
89mm Arias 9:01
crower rods with upgraded arp bolts
micropolished crank
arp head studs
crower valve springs mild valve job
stock cams, stock valves
give me your opinions and if you feel there is a better turbo for my goals!!

60-1 supports about 525 crank hp, sc61 supports like 680 or something. the sc61 has a more efficient compressor wheel and is just about as laggy as the 60-1

lol so you says it max out at 420whp
come on u know more about turbos then that
a 60-1 flows 58lbs/min so that nets u at around 500whp but i have seen 600whp with a t4/60-1
the sc61 start out the smallest with a 630hp up to a 680hp not whp
the best thing about the sc61 it will make more power at lower boost then the 60-1

WRONG. Try again.
Measured at the wheels
This is the t3 60-1 hifi turbo ( 2 3/4” inlet, 2” discharge) ; which is less efficient than the standard 60-1 (4” inlet, 2.5” discharge) compressor housing.

actually, yes, the sc61 is more efficient than the 60-1. I would personally go wit hthe sc61 as it would be better for your goals
isnt the 60-1 hifi just the 60-1 wheel in a E housing?

yes, ok, we already found out i was wrong, lol
The hifi is just the e-housing right, i wouldnt think theyd put a wheel that big in a b housing

thanks for the input guys! have any suggestions on a good log style manifold that i can keep ac with i was thinking either spoolin performance or the one made by innovative turbo!

2.75" inlet 2" outlet = TO4B
3" Inlet 2" outlet = TO4E
It's the TO4B.
