Hi everybody,

I have a 95 SI that keep dying on me when I'm riding in neutral. It not giving any error code at all. Just the battery and oil light comes on when it die. It usually occur when I coming to a stop sign and I shift it to neutral. If anyone can point me toward fixing this problem, I would appreciate. The car has 166K miles. I recently changed the water pump, timing belt, all the drive belt and fuel pump. I'm at a lost right now. Could be possible be the MAP sensor?

Modlist? and have you done anything recently?

 

Is it stalling on you when you have the clutch pushed in and just rolling, or when the car is actually in neutral and the clutch is out, or both?

mine does the same thing when i push in the clutch and come to a stop, it only happens sometimes though

 

It's stalling when I rolling in neutral. The clutch is out. No mode on the car at all except a cold air intake.

 

I'm having the exact same problem.

 

I used to have that problem until i replaced it with a jdm h22a lol

 

i have that problem from time to time on a jdm h22. I can't crank it right away either, I have to give it at least 10 secs first. otherwise a few cylinders will fire and it'll die again.

 

Check your plugs to see if they are fouled, also check the throttle body for carbon build-up.

 

Try a compression test to see if your valves are bent.

That would make his car stall only when the clutch is down?

 

Mine used to do that **** too, a few turns of the idle screw is all it took to fix.

No, when I had bent valves my car would stall in nuetral weather the clutch was up or down.

 

I know this is a long shot considering the fact that it’s been years since this post but any chance on an update? Having the same exact issue. H22 swap ‘93 prelude. PLEASE HELP
