Default Overheating Im so Frustrated!!!

I dont know whats wrong with my car its ran fine for almost 2 years with the swap and now it is starting to overheat. The car gets hot when im at a stop and i have to put the heater on full blast and then it goes down. I changed the thermostat and filled the radiator with new fluid. can anyone help?

more then likely you have air in the cooling system, the air is making the cooling system to overheat do-to not circulating...there is f.a.q @ the top of the forum to help you bleed the air out for your engine

What are the swap details? Do you have any other details? Its hard to trouble shoot on so little info. Theres only a few things it could be, headgasket, heater core, or maybe even the water pump is shot, or the rad itself.

Could have air pocket or just start by flushing the system

maybe your radiator fan switch is dead, and its keeping your car cool while moving. happened to a friend of mine. they sell fan switches

How do you know if your waterpump is shot? Will it start leaking or are there any other symptoms?

i'll put my bet on the Fan Switch which is located on the housing that has the thermostat.
