NEED HELP from the pros- momo horn wiring on EK
I have a momo monte carlo with the momo hub and i just need to know WHICH WIRE to tap into on the plug that goes behind the steering module. I'm thinking it's the gray one, but i'm not sure.
i know, this has been done to death and i've been searching the many threads about this, but all i've come up with is for 5th Gen 92-95. Apparently, the spot on the plug which i need to solder/connect a wire is already being tied up by this gray wire. Thanks in advance.

are you using the cable reel?
on the wheel side of the cable reel the wire is gray, on the car side of the reel it is blue then connects to gray wire under the steering column. (three pin gray plug)
if you're not using the reel, just find the three pin plug under the column that the reel used to connect to, and connect to the gray wire. ground is signal to turn on the horn.

I think that I'm trying this method...just curious weather I'm doing this right? I still can't get the horn to honk using the gray wire in the picture below.
This was originally plugged into the srs reel thingy. Not sure why I'm not getting it to work.
So what do I ground too?
Thanks

But when I stick the red wire (attached to the metal strip) to the grey horn wire in the clip and touch the brass piece to the back of the hub and press the horn button...nothing happens.
Do I need to ground something? What am I missing?

Two...one goes to the front of the hub and the ground one that is connected to the hub frame.

hmmm. ok it seems that the black one on the power, and the yellow one is the ground. I assume u have it hooked up correctly. Get a wire tester and stick it into the socket where the grey wire is. See if u are getting any power. If the horn indeed works, then it should go off as soon as u stick the wire tester in there. Test the other wires too, in case I may be wrong about the grey one. If all that doesnt work then check the horn fuse in the engine bay fuse box
