Default Analyse my clutch...New clutch,Flywheel and LSD installed

Well FINALLY we could install my CM stage 3 clutch,COmp. Clutch light Flywheel and the OBX Differential on my car. Now im in the process of breaking in the clutch so i can finally can go tune and start the quest for the 12 seconds on my Sohc non vtec.

First take a look on how bad my stock clutch was. There were signs or Spots of excess heat. The flywheel had some parts that it looked like it started deformong a lil.The springs of the disc already started to scratch the flywheel and the press. plate. The disc was totally cristalized and wasnt really doing much.

OBX LSD with the final drive installed.

The OBX install was very straight foward, no complcations at all and everything was plug and play..We didnt had to add any xtra shims and the clearances where just like if the factory one was there..

Empty Tranny waiting for the LSD transplant.

the transmission was in excellent shape inside, looked brand new, everything was in great condition.Synchros looked like if they were brand new.

With the stock clutch, un tuned and 10 PSI the car ran 14.6 with 95mph @10 PSI on a Sohc non vtec. 0-60ft where 2.4. I guess that the new clutch, fly and LSD combo should take me into the 13's @ 10PSIs(with good traction).

thanks for looking

BTW: we measured the STock Flywheel vs the Comp. Clutch 8lbs flywheel and the stock one weighted 17.5lbs and the comp clutch fly was 7.5lbs..I guess the balance was off by 1/2 pound.

Looks great - good budget set up that should get you where you want to be..

Get some aftermarket axels and let her rip - launching off rev limit with slicks is fun !!

Amazingly it drove allright..Except if i whipped it hard consecutive..you would see smoke coming out from the bottom of the tranny..With the clutch like that it still ran a 14.6 at the track without any tunning yet on the motor.
