Default Comptech Axleback w/ Apexi piping-will it fit?

OK I have searched without any luck really, here and at team integra. I am really really tired of the loud noise of my apexi n1 and would like to purchase a comptech axle back in hopes of reducing the noise a little and getting a little ground clearance back! here are my questions:

1.) Will it reduce the noise at least slightly?
2.) Will it bolt up to the current piping or not? (2001 gs-r apexi n1)

thanks

if comptech fits on the stock b-pipe then it will fit on the apexi b-pipe.
