Re: comptech vs apexi header (sloweg6)
I have a 00 SI swap with the 4-2-1 comptech. Very nice, fit and finish was perfect. where are you looking to buy from? how much do they want for the comptech. LMK I might know of a cheaper place.

Re: comptech vs apexi header (Dj Villain)
I currently use an A'PEXi header, and it fits fine. Not sure how much of a gain I made because I installed it directly after removing my turbo, so from turbo to header ... gains are hard to tell from bolt-ons. But the fitment and quality were excellent. I've also used an A'PEXi cat-back and had no problems with that, either.

Looks nice...Is it CARB legal? Living in Cali, I wouldn't dare run something that isn't CARB approved anymore.

the quality is top notch. i think it made something like 8whp on a d-seires or something. check out http://www.exospeed.com , i think they got some dyno numbers. if you want to use this header you have to delete a/c and p/s.

BECAUSE THE B16 IS NOT AS TALL AS A B18BLOCK You will get the performance that you are looking for w/o spending a lot of money. But that header will hit everything and its momma if your car is lower than 1.5 inches
