Just wanted to give you a few more links different to the above.

Check out http://www.howstuffworks.com. It gives an explination of how VTEC works.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question229.htm

Make sure to check out the links at the bottom. Even more info.

Now if you want to get more power, you have to decide if you're going all motor or FI. Whichever you pick, check out that forum here on H-T. Just do a lot of reading. May be boring it'll payoff and it's a good way to learn!

-- Kevin (and yes, I love VTEC too, I won't ever go back...

just search around in the all motor forums here on HT. they'll explain alot about the motors and what can and can't be done.

i dont really hang around the f/i forum, but i'm sure they have great information in there too.

I thought I had escaped this kind of thing by ditching my GTI, but little did I know.

WTF. First you make a post. Then after several replies you completely change your topic.

In case you haven't noticed, your stock head on your GS-R is a B18C1 head. Why would you want to replace your working GS-R block with an LS block?

That's messed up guy, imagine if he took you serious and just totally ditched the GSR block because of your sarcasm. LoL
