Default b20 motor replacement in type r questions

Does anyone have any info on a b20 in a itr. If you have any info on how many miles it would last, power gain, or durability that would be great. I just need to know more about them before i more involved in it

should be the same as a stock CRV...since it comes out of one...

if you're talking about building it then thats a different story

Just re-sleeve your B18C5 to 85mm. That's what I did.

im thinking of buying a 2000 itr that has a B20 Block 12:1 Arias Pistons - Eagle H Beam Rods and an itr head and iv herd that the rod ratio could screw things up at high rpms. I dont want the pistons rubing hard agains the block, but im not sure that would happen. I just dont want to be afraid of reving it hard and end up screwing up up bad.

dont buy a built motor if you dont trust it, or who put it together.

well here is the thing i bought the motor built from a friend and i ended up breakin piston ring lands because of a lean condition. but before it blew it had way more power then the b18c5 and i revved it to 9000 with no problems. i am currently building the block to be better then before. i don't think that i will have any of the same problems. (i got a hondata instead of the shitty vafc)
