hey guys.hows it goin..i have a 91 crx si b16 with full interior..my daily driver...i like to go to the track whenever its open..well i had an ls tranny on my b16,stock motor.my best time was a 15.9..i thought it was horrible..the reason i had the ls tranny was cuz i thought it was a b16 tranny (guy who sold it to me,said it was b16)..n e way,does the ls tranny hurt 1/4 mile big time?i just got a b16 tranny.how much will this help me?.another thing..i was launching at around 2500 rpms..is that too low?..i now have b16 tranny,dc sports 4-1 header,itr IM and chipped pr3 by hondajdmparts.com,vtec comin at 5200...n e tips guys.thanks.i appreciate it

 

The B16 tranny will help you out a lot, not exactly sure how much though. If your on street tires 2500 rpms should be about right (depends on too many things). You don't want to bog and you don't want to spin the tires to the point where they lose control, you want somewhere in between. I would just go out and practice.

 

the best advice will be to just go out there and try it out...the b16 tranny should be a big improvement over the ls tranny
