Default skunk2 IM(dyno charts)

Does anyone have dyno charts of the skunk2 Intake manifold for a GSR?

I would like to compare the gains, because I'm considering staying with the dual stage for everyday driving.

I don't know about the GS-R's, but all they do for LS'es is move about 8whp from 4k-5.5k to above 5.5k. The power at 4k-5.5k is as much as 8whp less than stock, but above 5.5k it's as much as 8whp more than stock. Not worth it on a LS, imo. I don't know what it'd do on a GS-R though.

The dual stage is good for approximately 180 whp. If you are making close to that and you think the IM is a bottleneck, then upgrade. I wouldn't unless I had bigger cams, and a higher redline.

I remember a dyno that Import Tuner had on a 95 GSR with an intake and exhaust. It gained hp in low range and lost a little in mid-range and then picked up again in the higher rpm range.

I hear that you need so many other parts to make this work. Does anyone have a picture of their Skunk intake manifold in their GSR?
Does it come with detailed instructions?

i see, thats a funky looking dyno! it dips down then comes back up. Have you gotten a dyno recently? So it should be ok to get the skunk2 intake manifold after i get my itr cams installed and tuned and crap? Do you have any cel with the sk2 manifold?

yeah got me guessin too.

anyway, no CEL just make sure everything is hooked up right. but i did throw a CEL after my ITR cam install...im running a little rich and the o2 sensor isn't real happy.
and no i haven't gotten it dynoed sincei got my cams in, but i will soon though.
yeah i think it would be better to get the skunk2 after you get your cams...

That would be great, and even if someone has the dyno for the skunk IM before and after with ITR cams it would be great.

The Skunk manifold isn't worth it.

doesnt this disable the 2ndarys, thus a pretty damn good loss in trq downlow? with a good gain in mid, and better high end?

I can't believe with those mods that u could say such a thing..

Yes, but it's not that big of a deal.. If u want to experience the feeling of no secondaries, disconnect the iab connector or unplug the line running to the vacuum unit/thingy/ufo.. If u want to experience the 5whp (stock), u gotta get the manifold..

Yea i may change my mind, but i would rather have more usable tq and hp through most of the rev range, then have more for like 500 rpms,my opionion, same for the header,i would rather have a nice power curve threw most the rev range then the last 500 rpms.Thats were the header and manifold do better then stock IM and 4-2-1,the end of the rev range by a little.Note my car is not a highly modded ride, for modded rides go 4-1 and single stage.
