What would you do? Help me pick
Ok, i'm just so you know i'm a high school student, I work part time and I modify my car paycheck to paycheck. Right now I have about $800 to spend plus I have about $500 coming in relatively soon because of an engine me and a friend are selling. I am currently turbo on the stock motor pushing 10psi street tuned with uberdata. I am going to be building a new engine to handle 20-25psi but right now just at 10psi traction is a big issue. I need to get some traction bars somewhere down the line because wheel hop is a real bitch.
Anyway, i'm looking for opinions, what would you guys want to do first in my shoes? If I go with the option to build the motor first I will just be purchasing parts for the build and putting it together as I go in my garage and continue to drive the car on the stock motor(perfectly fine). But when I do this build I will be changing out the turbo, turbo manifold, intake manifold, and clutch/flywheel. So for the build i'm probably looking at 4k-5k. I will eventually do it anyway but i'm just trying to decide the order to do things. Or I can get done with all my smaller things before the engine build, like traction bars, coilovers, carbon fiber hood(current hood is messed up because I had my intake filter sitting too high, closed the hood and it hit). Another option I could go with is to return the integra back to bone stock(except for the paint & spoiler), sell the wheels, turbo kit, cd player, amp, speakers and such, put my money from all that plus what I have into getting a newer but completely different car w/ some low *** payments.

well then my vote is for MORE PSI BABY!!
worry about traction later, think about how much fun it would be to get from 20mph-100mph....you can get the 0-20 down later.

heh, actually traction is an issue at almost all speed, going into 2nd and going into 3rd if I slam it to the ground it hops, so I cant slam it down when shifting I have to ease into it, but yea... boost is hella fun, scary as **** when you first drive with boost though, super fun though.
for about 400$, lower the car(front mostly), then then get some haspot, avid, and or enjo mounts, and your one solid champ. Build your motor, but get at least this done before hand, you wont regret it.

honestly i dont know how well off you are and how into ur love for cars is, but personally i think if i had done all that to my car invested so much id either, if i really wannted to keep going id 1st buy the turbo parts for my car leave them alone for a while untill u can gather them all up. purchase a beater and then install the stuff on to ur car then run with 20 psi or what not cuse i dont think its gonna be pretty when ur running 20 psi and ur gettin pulled over left and right for stupid **** like fix this fix that.
but if i felt it wasnt worth investin into this car anymore forget it save up buy a new car, maybe even use this car as a beater and find ur next car.
it just depends on ur goals.

You may be without a car when the 20-25 psi turbo goes horribly wrong.

i love my car and all but I mean, we all like nice things, new cars are a hell of a lot nicer and really my dream car(within reasonable price range) is an s2000, the car is already turbo since december @ 10psi on stock motor, spent around $3500 total when I did the turbo setup(including wideband, ECU chipping, laptop, exhaust, injectors, fuel pump), the compression is still wonderful on the motor as of last weekends leakdown test. I plan to do the 20-25psi setup very thoroughly, it wont go in without being absolutely perfect, it will be towed up to Velocity Performance for tuning(I will have hondata for tuning by then). If anything for whatever reason were to go wrong with the new motor, I will still have the old motor to drop in so I can drive the car, I have access to a beater if things dont go as planned(it happens). But anyway, the new car option probably wont be the way I go(payments will be fine but the insurance for an 18 year old in a 2-seater convertible... eh, no thx) but I just want to see what you guys would do.
By the way I won't be pushing 20psi daily, I have a boost controller to turn the boost up/down, but the lowest I will be boosting is 10psi due to the wastegate spring I chose for my current turbo setup.

really the only reason im considering a new car is that if this car gets stolen, even if i had full coverage, i wouldnt get $$$ for the money I put into it, I would get a lousy 4k.. when compared to about the 10k thats into it right now + another 5k into whatever else I put in with the build and such... that really bothers me.

then u might wanna talk to ur insurance adjuster before u go and do all that stuff (i suggest u use ur parents insurance # just in case they ask cuse i doubt they are gonna think they are 40-50 year old races, and they are gonna assume if u asked a 17-18 year old ur planning to race.) simply ask do u guys cover aftermarket modifications, if the car were to get stolen or totalled. they should tell u straight up yes or no and if u do get them to say yes u better get a name

I already have college covered, plus i'm living at home while I go to college, parents will be paying for my insurance as long as i'm in school, so my only expenses are gas and entertainment.
