Changed spark plugs now car won't start.
I don't know what seems to be the problem. I hand tighten the spark plugs then torque them to 13ft lbs like the helms manual said to do. I put the spark plugs wires back on and start up the car and it won't start. The spark plug wires have the correct firing order also. Could it be my spark plug wires (crappy nology wires that came with the car) or something more worst?
check all your fuses to make sure you didnt short something out during your change of your spark plugs make sure you didnt short out your coil or anything in the dizzy good luck
I just checked and there is no blown fuses. When I start the car it cranks and feels like it about to start. I can hear the fuel priming also. I doubled checked the firing order and it's exactly like the helms. My motor is a d16z6 btw. I told my cousin to pick me up some oem spark plugs wires hopefully he'll by here soon.
check and make sure everything is all plugged in rite...just a question but where do you live? not like it would help in your case but i heard someone saying they had a problem like this and just wondering if it was you?

i know its been said but make sure you didnt switch the plug wires around, check the gap on the plugs. BTW what kind of plugs are they because hondas love ngk
The spark plugs are NGK. I don't think there is a way of messing up the wires. I hope it's not the dizzy, ignitor, or ignition coil. More money down the drain.
you probley fried the ignitor I had this problem before it would crank and almost start but just wouldnt go try changing that out if you happen to have a extra one
I'm having the same problem - no spark - after I changed the alternator. My coil is brand new as are the wires, plugs, cap, and rotor. Was told to check fuses. If nothing tonight I"ll put in the shop tomarrow and post their findings.
