Default Rebuild engine, CTR pistons, Brand new ITR head, but no power....

Hi guys!! i'm new here and have a couple question on my ITR swapped civic, any help will be appreciated. This is what I have in the swap (rebuild):

Brand New ITR Head,
Brand New ITR CamShaft,
B16 Tranny,
ARP HeadStud,
OEM Head Gasket
APEX'I VAFC
JG Intake Manifold, 68mm STR Throttle Body, stock GSR header and injectors
ITR Block
Brand New Over-Sized CTR Piston & Ring,
Brand New Main & Rod Bearing,
the car ran about 300 miles on 93 Octane Gas, no noise, Vtec working, ( but can't feel any power), when the engine is cold it cannot idle ( the car dies after letting go Gas pedal). compression of the car is 270 all 4. It feels like an 99 Civic SI.

Also using VFAC vtec set at 6000 rpm and GSR ecu.
check engine light on and the code is: System too rich. I removed the spark plugs and they're black.
Timing is perfect, vfac only adjust for vtec, other setting are untouch.

Any body know why the car is not producing any power??? Plz help thx!!!

Whats the cel code? Fuel pressure? Double check the cam timing.

you need to get the car dynoed
get some rc 310cc injectors befor you go

just get it tuned. i think 310s are too big for basically an ITR motor with higher compression and a larger intake manifold.
240cc injectors are fine. just tune it good.

you MOST definately need bigger cams with the compression you are running. you are missing out on alot of power.

I agree. You're undercamming the hell out of your setup.

get rid of the gsr computer, get a chipped p28 with a modified itr program, and check your converer to see if its clogged, if you are running one, get rid of the stock exhaust manifold, and get a quality header. good luck

Yep. Kenji wrote a great program for my ITR setup.
Don't know what type of fuel you guys get over there but isn't 93 a bit too low to be using for that type of compression?
As for your car not idling when cold, lean it out little by little on idle until it works. The rest can be left flat obviously until dyno.

and that Edlebrock manifold might be a bit to big for the power your making. Trying something a little milder like AEBS

I really don't understand why i need to get it tune, the only different between the stock ITR engine and my engine is the CTR pistons. I have get ride of the jg manifold, str throttly body and AFAC. Now i have SI instake manifold and stock SI throttly body, now the car ideal fine, feel a little more power, but don't really feel like stock ITR engine at all. Do i really need to get a bigger cams or get it tune? Can I just use P73 ECU? any recommendation on the cams?

"The only difference is my compression now sits at 12.5:1. I cannot understand why that would be any different then a stock ITR setup!?"

I hope you aren't serious.

GSR ecu likes to use gsr intake manifold with the butterflies, since u dont have any it throws a code, runs on limp mode which is rich as hell
