91 civic hatchback turn signal flasher
Hey there.
i jsut got a 91 civic hatchback. the left hand front turn signal got damaged and the bulb broke. after replacing it, it decided to go into "hyperspeed" mode, flashing rather fast.... do i need a new flasher unit, oris ther somehting i can look for. the hazard lights work at normal speed.

only thing i know of that causes the bulb to flash quickly is when one of the bulbs for that side is burned out.
check the rear bulbs for that side as well, because if one of those is out, it will flash quickly.
also you should keep in mind that there are 2 bulbs in the corner light up front, the parking light bulb, and then the turn signal bulb. just make sure you got bulbs in both of them. and make sure they are correct. AND there is another turn signal bulb in the lower front part of the bumper.
other than the bulbs though , i dunno. i guess make sure they are all the correct bulbs, and they all work. if thats not it. ask someone who knows waht they are talking about a little more than i do!

try posting in the right forum. CRX / EF Civic forum people could help you out better then us. But its most likely a burnt out bulb that is causing it. Make sure that the new bulb you put in is in correctly.
